This Privacy Policy describes how Deployed Intelligence (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Sage iOS application (“Sage” or the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the App’s features.

Account information. When you create an account you provide an email address and password, or authenticate with Sign in with Apple. We store your Firebase Authentication user ID and the email address associated with your account.

Skill and session data. Sage stores the skill goals, practice session records (duration, notes, ratings, custom metric values), and learning resources you create. This data is stored entirely on your device in a local SQLite database and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Calendar data. With your permission, Sage reads and writes events to your device calendar to schedule and display practice sessions. Calendar data is processed locally on your device; specific event details are not transmitted to our servers.

AI conversation data. When you use Sage’s chat, insights, or resource curation features, your messages and relevant session context are sent to our backend proxy, which forwards them to the Anthropic Claude AI API to generate responses. These messages are not stored permanently on our servers beyond the duration of your session.

Usage and subscription data. We record monthly token consumption to enforce the subscription token budget. Subscription status (free trial vs. Pro) is managed through Apple StoreKit and is verified by our backend.

Your skill goals, session records, and learning resources are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the App. AI conversation messages sent to our backend are not persisted beyond the HTTP request lifecycle.

You can permanently delete your account at any time directly from the app: open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This immediately removes your Firebase Authentication record and all associated server-side data (usage counters, subscription status, and any feedback submissions) from our systems. If you have an active Pro subscription, the app will prompt you to cancel it through Apple before proceeding.

6. Data Security

All communication between the App and our backend uses HTTPS. API requests are authenticated with Firebase ID tokens. We do not store plain-text credentials. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Skill Sage AI is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of the App and any subscription purchases made through their Apple ID account.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). For all other requests, contact us using the information below and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
